Why isn't Singlepoint publicly available?

There are various reasons why the system is currently not available to the public. These range from concerns around the impact releasing the data will have on the community, to obtaining permission from the various providers to do so. No significant research has been conducted into the effect information can have on public perception of an area, or whether releasing good/bad statistics will alter the fear of crime. Within the coming months the partnership will be looking at whether agencies are looking to take a unified or individual approach to sharing their data with the public, and one of the outcomes of this may be providing data to everyone.

This site will be updated with more information as it becomes available.
